Why save the whales? Whales have as much right to exist as we, humans, do. They're also important for the marine ecosystem. I think it would be kinda depressing to know that whales don't exist anymore. Anyway I can't believe so many people are throwing a fit because this page...

a strangely nice site. i thought it was a bit lame but then the close button caught me off guard and i 'got it'... (and to those having their browser resized, while i feel your pain (no site should do that!) get firefox and never have it happen again :) )

Nice, and quite relaxing. Didn't notice any problems with my browser (IE). The whale is supposedly "life size", although I don't know how accurate this is. You can navigate about, either within the main panel, or the small inset, which shows you where you are at any given time.
