looks very interesting, but I still prefer amaroK

This is horrible... why would you want something which "is a desktop Web player, a digital jukebox and Web browser mash-up." It's like the top piece of bloated software.

I am waiting for this to come out of development... hell I'd help if I thought I could make any odds... the pic is cute... reminds me of my sweetheart :$

I wish to God they'd hurry up and finish the first version of this, because it looks set to be awesome! Firefox, but a media player? Everybody wins!

This looks like a really interesting bit of software. I'm a big Firefox fan and if this is going to be as good it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. I've added it to my delicious bookmarks.

From the page: "Songbird is a desktop Web player, a digital jukebox and Web browser mash-up. Like Winamp, it supports extensions and skins feathers. Like Firefox, it is built from Mozilla, cross-platform and open source." Looks as though this could be a very cool, and must have download when it exits the developer phase!

Terrific functionality & not at all buggy (as the version number might lead you to believe). I guess I've been using this about 5 months now. Not only a great program but a good demo of the Mozilla "platform".
