Hey, if we are truly a free society, then let the people decide. it's true what he said, i cannot make someone do drugs they do not want to take, regardless if they are illegal or not.

some of this stuff was pretty true, but the more i read, the more it started getting stupid. just stick to legalizing pot. p.s. if you want drugs to be legalized, vote ron paul.

If people will read things like that for sure they will be not only open-minded but more responsable and "adults "...so, bring up the green propaganda . "I will continue to smoke marijuana and enjoy it! I hurt nobody! If others do not approve of what I do to myself in my own home, too bad! I may not care for the music you listen to, the food you eat, or the culture you have adopted, but I would never advocate punishing you because I don't like your lifestyle. If someone violates the rights of others, the violater should be punished; otherwise, people should mind their own business."

First off: a reason left out was that the government keeps it illegal because they have not figured out how to make drugs a controlled and taxed substance like tobacco or alcohol. (Don't think some politician hasn't tried to figure out how to do so.) It makes them more revenue to keep it illegal, imprison people for dope, tax us for prisons, tax us for law enforcement, make us pay fines, and buy bail bonds. Until all of that can be offset by the revenue that would be gained from the legal distribution and control of currently illegal drugs; that is how it will be. Second; The only people really interested in legalization of drugs, are the addicts...go figure.
