- I'm no longer a big fan of Ebay because too many people only accept PayPal and I have been ripped off by PayPal one too many times. When PayPal started the policy of requiring your bank account number in order to use the service, that was the last straw for me. When I tried to cancel my account, they refused to even do that unless I provided my bank account number. After threatening to go to the Better Business Bureau, they finally let me cancel my account.
