greenthings rated 30 months ago- i have the 2001 darwin awards on cd; its great for roadtrips. i have said it before and i will say it again...survival of the fittest baby. this theory always leads me to my belief that there should be less laws. if you are too stupid to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle or a seat belt in the car, thats your own damn fault if you die. is that too harsh? where this theory may go wrong is with people who are complete idiots reproducing. that child has no control over whether or not they get put in a car seat. but then nature would tell us that because the child is part of the same gene pool as the parent that evolution would be occurring by the child dying in a car accident because the parent didn't protect them. does that make sense? but that thought somewhat disgusts me because i adore children and i am always in the "save the children" mode. this leads me to the nature vs.nurture theory and i think there is some validity to this. therefore laws to keep children safe could make sense because if the child was removed from the environment and placed in a stronger, smarter (more evolved gene pool) environment then maybe nurture could over ride nature. whew. i'm finished.

- I thought I had rated this site a long time ago (goes to check the main URL) Yep... I sure did, back in 2004... so thanks for showing this to me again, but I've already seen it, and rated it... and I don't need to see it again, and rate it again...

- I'm sure the whole world knows all about the Darwin Awards, I like the notion that you dont have to top yourself to feature ... merely loose the ability to contribute to the gene pool... some great honourable mentions too From the page :- The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally kill themselves in really stupid ways.

skydvrgrl rated 31 months ago- one of the best sites on the web

ThePavementView rated 31 months ago- Real or not, the majority of the accounts are still hillarious. Recommended for those with a dark sense of humor.

Ishallcallu rated 31 months ago- rather morbid, but funny as hell.

PixieCharlotte rated 31 months ago- I DO enjoy these awards!
