Tips for Stumblers Some useful links if you're just starting to get to grips with HTML: Images in HTML tutorials) Hyperlinks in HTML (tutorials) Some of my own examples Some things that I do frequently: Expanding the browser view area to see tall images: The F11 key is a useful shortcut for that. Running text down one side of an image, or between two images: The method that works for me, and which is good for both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers with SU, is described here. Not all methods work with both browsers in SU! Reviewing a stumbler by photoblogging one of the images in his or her page: If you do this normally, then the link from the image will direct the viewer to the page where the image was originally found. If some time has passed, the image will no longer be there - it will be on one of the subsequent pages. If you don't want this to happen, then get the URL from the date/time field at the beginning of the entry containing the image you are photoblogging (right-click the date/time field, select "Copy Shortcut"). You can then change the HTML in your new blog entry which links to the entry in the blog you are reviewing, such as: by pasting what you now have on the clipboard over it, so you end up with (see the address bar at the top of your browser!) which will always point to the same entry. It doesn't change even if the entry is re-posted with a new date/time, which is very useful! Alternatively, you can do a similar thing by clicking (not right-clicking) the date/time field, which will take you to that particular entry. Give it a "thumbs up" (you will be discovering a new site as far as SU is concerned), and then photoblog as normal. This will also give the stumbler a new "review" (without deleting any previous one that you made) - but it doesn't appear in the actual list of reviews for that stumbler, and so it doesn't count as a "real" review. FWIW, in working on my own web pages I have collected links to HTML tutorials, CSS tutorials, web editors etc., that I found particularly useful. If you think they might be useful to you, you'll find them here. Lots More Tips for Stumblers... Mr-Helpful (as his name suggests) provides Stumblers with a huge collection of useful tips, and points you to other helpful people. Greatly appreciated! This is in addition to the normal Stumbler help. See also some things about stumbling that I wish I'd known earlier.
