- If you haven't visited Magicdots, you're seriously missing out on a journey into a fascinating world. Here's his profile description: I love theatre. The arts in general. Poetry. Things that make me think he's putting it on -- being drunk is funny, being angry is funny, being antagonistic keeps everyone at arm's length, and he's perfectly in control of that.
I think he's probably funny even when he's not drunk.
Things that make me wonder-- it's becoming an exclusive diet of booze, hangovers and "fuck yous". Maybe he really is falling apart, and this is a cry for help.
There is pretty much only one tone to his posts, yet he can't stop stumbling.
He doesn't respond to other people very much -- though how he responds to this review may provide a clue.
Will it be "Fuck you too, Kahlila"?
Maybe he won't even deign to give me a name.
For all that, I like him.

- I;m looking at magicdots page for the first time whilst being ... erm ... chemically altered, and all I can say is, his punctuation makes perfect sense.

- i've been searching for the words to review magicdot for a while now. but last night as i was eating beef vindaloo it occurred to me: he's just like the taj. the taj is this little restaurant in my town with possibly the best indian i've had so far. thing is, i didn't know the taj existed. my friends suggested it and i was like "hmmm, ok, i've never heard of it" and i went in (after walking by it twice without seeing it) and after gorging myself went HOLY SHIT. this is THE BEST indian food in town. some people came in and she hadn't cleared the other tables, and she said "go away and come back in 10 minutes. my tables aren't clean." she wasn't super friendly about it. but they came back, because they KNOW it's worth it. is it new? no. it's been around for a while, a well kept, low-key secret. it has a small number of fans who are dedicated and totally awesome, but is surely growing. just like magicdot. or as i shall refer to him as now on: the taj.

- Magicdot--now here's the man --he's as world weary as the Canadian Shield--I've seen him chew nails and blow bubbles--I've heard he threw in the first piece of coal when they fired up the first steam powered 'nets. He was the only cub his mother bothered to save after the rattlesnake that bit her crawled off and died . He rocks--and he likes Where the Wild Roses Grow
