Vallam rated 5 months ago- Just because you can come up with a fancy French name for it doesn't mean that it's an "unexplained phenomena." All of these are completely explainable, and 6, 5 and 4 are especially banal and ridiculous. I mean come the fuck on, L'esprit de l'escalier is merely the fact that you aren't an infallibly witty genius, how is that the least bit worthy of note?

beverly1956 rated 5 months ago- From the page: "Top 10 Strange Phenomena of the Mind" Ah yes, the mind is surely a scary place to hang out.

SonicSid rated 5 months ago- Should have known they had names for mental quirks. Now I don't feel nearly as insane.

nero44 rated 5 months ago- Now I question my own sanity. I've experienced a couple of these phenomenons.

jero05 rated 5 months ago- "We have all some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time - of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects, and circumstances - of our knowing perfectly what will be said next, as if we suddenly remember it!" Charles Dickens

Jessica-H rated 5 months ago- I HATE L'esprit de l'escalier. That always happens to me.

jacobcarroll rated 5 months ago- I seldom post anything other than images, but this is pretty fascinating.
