- hemp cloth is more waterproof, and softer than cotton. AND! more flame retardant. Different plant, same family.... irony?! I think not.

- There is really no reason for most drug restrictions, other than certain racial groups tend to use them. That is probably the truest motive in keeping marijuana illegal. The prisons can be filled with minorities. It's just a passive form of genocide.

- This page gives an incredibly detailed history of marijuana smoking in the US, and makes for a very interesting read whether you smoke it or not.
