- 100 Most Often Mispronounced Word and Phrases I was just thinking about this tonight as I drove home from work as I was listening to morons call into the radio station...it's not that hard, annunciate, open your mouth and say words the correct way!!!

- I'd call this both culturally and racially biased. Fer those of ya've never heard somebody say "aks" (which actually should have been "aksk"), the majority of these mis-pronounciations are embedded in the speech patterns of those living in the southern United States and are closely associated with American blacks (most of whom live in those states). I'm a Georgian with no accent and I normally pronounce every word on the page correctly, but it's more than a little ridiculous to dedicate a website to saying that an entire English dialect is wrong. I'm going to make a site explaining how incorrect British English is. Or Lordy, them Yankees.

- I have heard most of the words in the don't say catagory so many times they almost sound right! LOL great site
