ever said to yourself, "man, i could really use a soft, warm chocolate chip cookie right now"? well, whatthefont won't scratch that itch, but upload any image containing a font you're curious about, and whatthefont will (eight times out of ten) tell you what it is. whatthefont is like chocolate chip cookies: when you need it, you really need it, and there's nothing else that will quite do the trick. except sex. there's just nothing bad to be said about whatthefont. except that it's a little fattening. and, stumblers who review it, four times out of five, don't do their math.

- Oh wow, now that idea is pure genius, and it works pretty well too. This is going to make creating fake ads for websites a whole lot easier ... Well done chaps. Takes a URL or scanned image and will try to identify a font that is as close a match as possible for the font in the image.
