- choices for action It seems to me that the more we see of this kind of endless suffering - all kinds of suffering - the more vital it is to make the conscious choice to bring active kindness, compassion, and gratitude into even our tiniest daily interactions and experiences. We can at least do that. We are not helpless. Feeling overwhelmed is useless. Dealing with our own negative, destructive behaviour is a perfect, practical, and empowering starting point. I hear you, but often this seems to only course of action left to us. Conversely if there cease to be enough of us doing this it will be over. I fear...
