jbar rated 34 months ago- Excellent site, it's got lots of interesting information. Check the forums for loads of additional crazy stuff. I particularly enjoyed the purgatory's thread about the aztecs.

JohnnyCave rated 35 months ago- Interesting piece of software. Will have to check it out in more detail when I get some time.

chingf0rd rated 35 months ago- There's so many great free programs out there, but this is one of the finest - Google Earth, World Wind and this are top!

abbynormal92243 rated 35 months ago- oh, this is GREAT! I can't wait to show my kids! free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions. Celestia runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

poulpos rated 35 months ago- I've always be a Celestia fan. Anyone who loved Google-Earth shall try this stuf, it's absolutely amazing. ATTENTION : You may loose all your day exploring the universe, and forgetting doing these little-earthlings-domestic-activities, like dishwashing or house-cleaning...

mr-damon rated 35 months ago- From the page: "Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy. All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit."

zeroHalo rated 35 months ago- Getting better and better with each release!

SirLiveAlot rated 35 months ago- A cool program. Where google earth excels at showing us the earth, Celestia excels at showing us the universe.
