IndustrialRodent rated 26 months ago- I am a firm believer in the right to free speech, weather I like it or not you have a right to say it. And I have a right not to watch it, read it, or participate in it. And as far as children are concerned, come on, you should be more into thier lives and know what they are doing, it's called being a parent. And I feel sorry for all the children out there that don't have parents, or the ones that do have them but they can't seem to find the time to be a parent...

- I noticed another reviewer stated, "Everyone loves free speech until someone says something they don't like." How true. How sad. According to the First Ammendment of the US Constitution, I am assured of my right of free speech. This is both a freedom and a responsibility. Another reviewer stated, "We live in a nation were people are beginning to self-censor themselves. We can't allow this to happen." I disagree. Judicial self-censorship is fundamental for any possibilty of a cohesive community ~ it's called TACT. By all means, say how you feel and tell people what you believe in... but, remember, the next person has the same right to express themselves & will very possibly hold a different opinion than yours. Words can hurt, or heal... the decision is yours. Do you use your words to bring another person down... or, do you use your words to bring your cause higher? Thank you to Senor Sam 21 for this opportunity to express my opinion regarding the Right of Free Speech.

In February of 1996, Congress enacted the Communications Decency Act (CDA). CDA sought to protect minors from harmful material online by criminalizing transmission of "indecent" materials to minors. However, in 1997, the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in Reno v. American Civil Liberties Union that CDA was an unconstitutional restriction on the Internet, which they called a "unique and wholly new medium of worldwide human communication" deserving of full First Amendment protection. Thanks for the link, my dear friend Royalgirl !
