What's annoying is the huge amount of money that is spent this kind of false advertising, and the even larger amounts spent by impressionable people of all ages trying to look like celebrities. So we have big stars saying "I use " this and that product, but they are still not good... more

How we are maniplated every day: Take an already emaciated actress and retouch her photo for promo shots making the waist thinner, the breasts larger, the facial features more pronounced, and the flesh more tanned. This is the beauty standard we foist on our children and ourselves - maybe if we all went on a photoshop diet we could conform to this norm of beauty....

Funny. Sometimes you don't know how flawed and unappealing your world is until some chump with Photoshop feels the need to "make it better."

Quite startling. :o This compares two pictures of Keira Knightley from King Arthur in original version with photoshopped version. They did a whooole lotta crap to her to make her looks as "fierce" as she looked on that poster. And it was very eye-opening. They enlarged her breasts....took off some stray hair...made her slimmer...and even changed her pose! :o >_
