"For every house of bricks, there's a house of sticks.....and about 100 houses of straw"

I agree with not-a-slave (First page of comments) but for different reasons...good except for the manipulation of the facts about meat eating. The grain consumed by the cows is not anything that is human consumable. My grandfather has quite a few cattle, and I have never sat down and said "hey! pass me some of the grass...I want to munch on it. Before anyone comments back about that land being used for other (human consumable) products there is the logistics of shipping said consumable grain around the world, the amount of maintainance a human consumable crop would need, that does not have to be done for the cattle crop and the excess amount of water needed to grow those human consumable crops.

An animation about the inequality of the world we live in based off of the three little piggies rhyme.

Hatrobot's Little Piggy. Everyone should watch this video through to the end & then have a good think about it. Thanks Buddhalover! Update: Burkinalovefaso just sent me this, also by Spookyrobot! The Book of Numbers.

Thanks for sending it my way too, buddhalover. These are some of the reasons I eat no meat at all, very little eggs or milk (and those from local small farms), make my own clothes from thrift-store finds, walk and take the bus when when I can, drive a very small car when I can't... we don't need the things we think we need, and I was so relived having stepped off a plane today, from the overwhelming consumption and craziness that is Disneyland (the excess of which I'd never seen the likes of before) back to the sanity of my little island! My head is still spinning! :-0
