- People scoff and say "there is no American Taliban", but strip away the photos and the names, and these quotes, almost to a word, could come from Al Qaeda or the Taliban. Swap "Christian" and "Muslim", and it's really tough to distinguish Pat Robertson and Osama Bin Laden. Christian fundamentalists, Islamic fundamentalists, what's the difference really? They both hate the same things, Jews, homosexuals, foreigners, human rights, and societal progress.
