How we humans love to categorize ourselves. I score very high "avoidant" and high "schizoid." Makes me sound way more fucked up than I actually am. (But yes, I am a bit of a loner.)

Disorder: Rating Paranoid: Moderate, Schizoid: Low, Schizotypal: Moderate, Antisocial: Low, Borderline: Very High, Histrionic: High, Narcissistic: Moderate, Avoidant: Moderate, Dependant: Very High, Obsessive Compulsive: High. I've been diagnosed with clinical depression for a very, very long time. But recently I've recognised that there are periods in between the bouts of depression when I'm completely hyper - even manic. I hadn't mentioned these to my Psychiatrist, as until now I hadn't even realised that they might be as much of an issue as the low moods. My own independent research had pointed me towards a Borderline Personality Disorder, which this test seems to confirm. I'll take it to my next session and see what my Psychiatrist thinks. If anything it'll open up a dialogue we haven't had yet. I think she's getting used to me bringing along documentation on the latest mental health findings/ideas/research, but I'm not sure it's common practise. I just like to make sure that she's as up-to-date and working as hard as I am! :o)
