Sure, the site is describing a very narrow stereotype; sure, the irony is palpable; and sure, we should all be very offended and huff about how destructive stereotypes are, but, come on, from 0 to 15 million page views in three months--something has to be resonating with people here. However you see it--true, ironic, misguided--you have to admit that the humor is there.

- The more I think about it, the more I hate this site. First off, it's panning the yuppie/hipster subculture, not white people in general. The person who created this blog is a sugar-coated-prick, eversmirking hipster himself. Coax yourself to orgasm over the tangles of the levels of irony involved in writing this, oh witty pretentious troglodyte.

- yawn. Apparently I don't get it. I'm not offended, I just think its boring and mundane. The items listed are largely repetitive, and generic. Whats next? Ranch dressing, back scratchers, complaining about getting pop corn things in your teeth, picture frames, going to the gym, garbage disposals, getting haircuts, open bars at weddings, spearmint gum? Yea, thats white people alright. If your going to do a list like this, at least find stereotypes that make sense. Nascar, Golf, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the cable guy, gated communities, country music, skiing... It will be interesting to see if people still think this is entertaining when its about Blacks, Arabs, Chinese...

- The one about Japan is just eerie.
Q: But it goes beyond just food, all white people either have/will/or wished they had taught English in Japan. It is a dream for them to go over seas and actually live in Japan. This helps them not only because it fills their need to travel, it will enable them to gain important leverage over other white people at Sushi restaurants where they can say "this place is pretty good, but living in Japan really spoiled me. I've had such a hard time finding a really authentic place."
However, I will never watch Juno. - The one about Japan is just eerie.
