- Yawn. I have seen this no less than six thousand times. It wasn't meant to be funny - it was meant, 50 years ago, to be a primer for young girls before they became wives. And it's passed around these days in a "see how good you have it NOW, wimmin?" kind of spirit. Hence the reason that people keep thinking it's so funny to send it to me. Hm, strange how we don't laugh at slave-driver instructions or handbooks on how to beat your children into submission.
