- From the page: "Before blaming the dog when he doesn't respond to a command, one must determine whether or not: a) the dog knows what the owner wants, b) he knows how to comply, c) he is not simply being unresponsive due to fear, stress or confusion." Very straightforward and humane advice - it seems like stuff that every dog owner ought to know without being told, but it's -definitely- worth stating explicitly.

- I recently got a min pin for my fiancee; now it seems that everyone in her family wants a puppy. Few are really preparded for one. Although I doubt they will read it, I'm gonna share it with them.
