Excellent non-partisan discussion with 5 former secretaries of state about what the next president should do. Everyone should hear what these minds think - and surprisingly they agree on a lot.

Wow, the people who defend Palin are just as embarrassing as Palin herself. This woman claims it's not important that Palin has different interests than Washington, D.C.? Not important??!! Uh....yes it is! If you plan to live there and run it you sure as hell better be interested in what's going on there! What kind of lame defense is that? Unbelievable. That's a bit like me saying I'm qualified to run the whole of the Ford Motor company and it's not important that I have no interest in or knowledge of business, finance, or even cars. Note: The video URL won't stick in the SU review. For some reason it defaults to the main CNN video page. The specific video I'm referring to is "AC360: Palin's Latest Interview" ... link below: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2008/10/01/ac.palin.latest.cnn?ire f=videosearch

Huge respect to that guy. As citizens, we have right to ask our elected officials or candidates any question on policy that we want. Of course, they can decline to answer, as they have rights too, but to criticize this as "gotcha journalism" is certainly "tyrannical," as the student called it. It is more of the same fearmongering we have seen for the last 8 years. By calling a simple question "gotcha journalism," the McCain/Palin campaign is practically admitting Palin's susceptibility to being stumped by questions a veep SHOULD know... and they are also preemptively labeling any future question-askers in an attempt to scare people away from doing it.

I hate the way politicians talk. They sound like 5 year old's. I can't stand the idea that these 2 may actually be in office soon.

I would say, NO, she's not fit to be president! I like Jack Cafferty, he at least somewhat tells the truth..
