- I'm very interesting in optimizing systems from scratch to replaces the ones that evolved from more primitive ones. I wish there was some way to integrate this kind of thing into society more easily - hell, the US can't even manage a transition to the metric system.

- Clever idea, but the fact that the numbers look all too similar makes it difficult to realize them the same way we recognize Arabic numerals.

- This site describes octomatics, a new numbering system. Pretty cute - you can even add octomatic digits visually! This diagram is used to explain octomatic chronology. Far out!
