Trust fund hippies or not, it's pretty ballsy to renounce your possessions and bow out of the rat race. People can throw out the "Oh, it's easy to bow out of the grid, what really takes balls is to stay in the system and work your way up" counterargument, but is spending all of your life navigating your way through some bullshit societal hierarchy what you really wanted out of life? I'm thinking you probably wanted to be an astronaut or a doctor when you were younger, not some pencil-pushing wage slave.
And the "Well, that's reality" counterpoint to that statement is retarded too. It's not fucking reality, it's technicality foisted on us by a bureaucratic system that forces most of us to live paycheck to paycheck until we die.
If that's life to you, have fun living it.

A new interesting and hilarious twist, though; a commentator to a website with the tagline: el humor mas fresco, on a thread entitled something to the effect of "american homeless life" in spanish should post in response to the comments in spanish: "What the fuck, are you mother fuckers retarded? Learn English or go to mexico, motherfuckers......................If you don't want to live in the United States of America then get the fuck out." LOL sooo funny

- great photos: The hobo/crusty/whatever lifestyle isn't any easier (or necessarily any more difficult) than any other, but that these girls and guys have seemingly embrassed it, is inspiring.

- I don't know seriously, they seem to have expensive boots and they're spending money on tattoos, smokes and spliffs... That's not what I'd expect from someone who has left behind their possessions, for ideological reasons, or lost them, for financial reasons.
