I like the concept, but on a very practical level, the opportunity cost of registering, looking around for things you want, going through the whole bartering system, etc. etc... it kinda makes you think how much time you're spending to save a few bucks here and there, and what that is worth. Of course, the utility of recycling is great in itself. :)

i like the big idea of trading things you don't want or need anymore for something someone else doesn't want or need anymore. what's the saying? one man's trash is another man's treasure? yeah, something like that.

I have a hard time parting with just about anything in my massive CD collection, but DVDs are a different matter since I've found I never watch them once I own them... even though I feel the need to watch them on TV every time their on, hehe. Overall, good idea though this will definitely evolve and leave zf in the dust. Anyone know a site with more specific focus on what is traded? Eventually it would be cool to see a distributed open-source network for legit trading minus the fees. A boy can dream.
