- I know this is a very one sided website that could very easily be seen as propaganda based, but it makes points that very few mainstream press will even come close to. There are however far more examples of countries using unproven events to start war, other than those present at the beginning of the article. It has been around for centuries and unfortunately is an age old trick of politics. NO MAJOR POLITICAL DECISION SHOULD BE MADE WITHOUT PROOF. And by proof i mean as a court of law would define proof. We should never trust our government or for that matter anyone who seeks power. Oh and by the way if you are in the UK and are thinking that we would never do this, think again. The laws we have passed after 7/7 about terrorism were made without any real proof(available to the public) that terrorist actually committed these crimes. It is not acceptable and it makes us hypocrites.
