This kind of absurds are empirical so maybe they will help some people understand that there is no superficial istotes known as gods.

I too subscribe by the view point "it ain't necessarily so...the things that you're liable to read in the bible, it ain't necessarily so" and so on blah blah blah. OK so the bible's a work of fiction but I'm bored now. I'm bored of the non-believers (and I'm one of them) continually banging on about how the bible's an absurd fabricated, piece of nonsense. Who are they preaching to? Other sceptics and non-believers? Well that's pointless, surely. The believers? Equally pointless I would have thought. Only thing I have to say is shut the fuck up already. You're boring. Only thing worse than a ranting Christian and that's a ranting atheist.

Too bad most of those absurdities can be easily explained; too bad. Even as an atheist I could point some of mistakes made there. First of all, Bible has been written by people, and you need to take into account that it was kind of a long time ago. And so on.

I'm not christian or anything really for that matter, but a lot of these "absurdities" are bullshit. Take the eighth one for instance, the quote is taken completely out of context, meat can be another word for describing the part that you eat of the fruit, the flesh if you will. Number 25 is meant to be taken metaphorical, not literally as this site takes it. This site aims at hating christians, and this by far is my biggest hate of atheists, and pretty much any religion in general, the lack of understanding and tolerance that it takes to understand another. If you're atheist, be tolerant, if you're christian, be tolerant, if you're muslim, be tolerant, if you're anything else, just be tolerant. I already know that's not going to happen though, 'cause I'm pessimistic. Humanity will probably wipe himself off the face of this earth sometime soon anyways, hell we have the weapons for it already.

If you're trying to make fun of the bible by taking statements from it literally, you're already taking it way too seriously.

Don't take it to literally. The Bible is not the word of God but assembled, sorted and _approved upon_ writings that the church like.. But anyway, this one is quite funny Number 522: # Atheists are fools who never do anything good.
