- It's true that being a vegitarian helps. The equivalent amount of food in meat form takes up a lot more land space, energy, and water than does produce. Still, I guess if everybody lived like me we would need 4 and some earths. I hope this website doesn't just make people feel helpless.

- interesting site that calculates how many acres it takes to sustain you, and compares it to averages for your country. Also has an acreage reduction calculator that includes ways we can increase our efficency.

- so apparently I suck at living because if everyone lived like me, we would need 6 planets! lol i dont think that is necessarily true but I guess it makes you think about the impact you're having on the earth.

- They make a good point but fail to point out that the world is vastly overpopulated with humans anyway. This misinformation leads to a certain unbalance in reported information and leads to a (potentially unnecessary) guilt-trip for anybody who is a 'bit well-off' (i.e. anybody who would access this website anyway. Let's try to avoid total destruction of the environment, but let's try to do it in a factual way that doesnt involve guilt...
