From the page: "This is our world now... the world of the electron and the switch, the beauty of the baud. We make use of a service already existing without paying for what could be dirt-cheap if it wasn't run by profiteering gluttons, and you call us criminals. We explore... and you call ...

Wonderfully written and beautifully expressed. Love the statement made against public education. Or perhaps just against the standardized education. I wonder who was so presumptuous as to assume that every child born of such individuality that no one person's genes exactly match another person's could all be taught by the same system in the same way. I wonder what would happen if each child were given the opportunity to learn as they would, what they would. I believe that I would be a much better musician if I were permitted to spend all of my time with music instead of meddling with all this other crap. Let's face it, math and I simply do not get along. Wow, tangent, I'm done now :).

Tell your brain to get out of the box! There you go, you're a hacker now :-)

lizedits, you're funny. This manifesto was written years ago (at a time speed in the web was measured in bauds, January 8, 1986) by The Mentor, who was 21 at that time and probably a lot smarter than you are. To call him a snotty little brat is a sign of ignorance rather than of education.

No, your crime is unwarranted arrogance, in thinking that you are somehow exempt from paying the dues that come in the form of an education. If you were as smart as you think you are, you'd know that the great acts of tomorrow are built on a foundation that can only be obtained by EDUCATION. Grow up, you snotty little brat.
