a rubiks cube solving machine made entirely from a lego mind storms kit. the design is astounding because it uses only one servo to flip the cube! Watch the video at the bottom of the page!

From the page: "Tilted Twister solves Rubikâ€s cube fully automatically. Just place the scrambled cube on Tilted Twisterâ€s turntable. An ultrasonic sensor detects its presence and starts to read the colors of the cube faces using a light sensor. The robot turns and tilts the cube in order to read all the faces of the cube. It then calculates a solution and executes the moves by turning, tilting and twisting the cube."

More interesting than previous automatic Rubiks solvers because it is constraind by using only Lego's Mindstorm parts. This required some interesting design decisions to compensate for limited moters. The Lego light sensor is used for color identification. The solver functions independently of a PC.
