read a few of the condensations and they just weren't amusing - so found the site pretty pointless.

Not very funny, not very informative. I'm all for the kids cheating their way through the classics, but this isn't the way. York Notes are still the boss, and I should know, they got me from GCSE English all the way through my degree. Or try the Oxford Companion to English Literature. Handy like Jeremy Beadle.

tired of wading through all that crap so you can claim you've read those literary classics? no more! not with this site anyway. get cultured quick. pretty funny condensations (but it keeps to the plot!)

Instant funny stuff for the rest of the black-humored set, like me. Reading is fun, but sometimes, you just need a quick synopsis - let Book-A-Minute save you the trouble of conjugating verbs and interpreting the author's symbolism. Warning: plot spoilers!

Wanna read a lotta books but dont have the time? Worry not! This page has ripped-of the books leaving only the important stuff, so you cand read 'em in less than a minute! And besides, this version is usually a lot funnier than the original one. Ironically, I would only recommend to read this one-minute-books if you have read the original (or if you dont want to read it at all), because of the spoilers. Happy reading ;-)
