"To Thine Own Self Be True"

sunshinedigit rated 10 months ago- They say..
If you love someone
Set them free
If they return
You belong together
I'm setting you free now
Loosen the thread
I held so tight in my palms
Go...
Do what you always wanted
Have the freedom you always wished
But come back
Kiss me and
Love me
Forever

- I love the shared Burning Man connection with you, and your post about the Bible open to he first page at David Best's Temple touched me. I memorilize my father there each year too. Burning Man started out (for me) about the "man" but by the end of my fist year (2002) I knew my favorite place was going to be the Temple. I'll miss David Best's work, but the Temple we build going forward at Burning Man is and always will be in our hearts.
see you on the Playa..
I look forward to reading your page as we draw closer to another amazing year in BRC. "American Dream" should be interesting

From the page:
Original Oil Painting by Stevon Lucero
Description: What is it that motivates a man to renounce the world and become a monk? The square window which lets us see the body of the monk means his isolation is an intellectual construct. The two yellow bars represent the law of duality which rules the material world. The walls of his "cube" is the universe itself and as parts of his body penatrates through these walls, he discovers his Spirit Body. Transcendence becomes the motivation of our "Monk".
