- in the times of world war i, people did not have cameras that could capture color (black, white and greytone is not considered color by photographers (for some reason)) : this site is a lie

- World War 1 colour photos. Very atmospheric. It's just like observing film prop photos from 'Un Long Dimanche De Fiancailles'. It generates a feeling of nostalgia and melancholy at the same moment.
