Kaempfer05 rated 12 months ago- Oh noes, an over-hyped gadget turns out to not measure up? Unpossible! Also: This fellow managed to avoid ad-hominem attacks against apple, so maybe those writing reviews of the review should try and avoid making such attacks against him, eh?

Darque rated 12 months ago- Yet another strike against these "all-in-one" devices. There's always a tradeoff, folks. You can't combine a phone, camera, web browser, music player, and who knows what else they tried to cram into this thing, and expect all of it - or any of it - to work as well as the phone, camera, mp3 player, or computer that you already own.
So if it can't replace all those devices, you need to keep all those other things in addition to this supposed miracle, the iPhone. And in the meantime, you're tied in to a 2-year service deal with AT&T, of all companies? This is a scam, plain and simple - a very expensive one. Not only will you need the $600 buy-in, you'll need to shell out anywhere from - oh, I haven't had AT&T in a while, probably $60-$100 per month, for the next 24 months? Folks, do yourselves a favor: keep your phone, camera, and all your other gadgets, and skip this very costly red herring.
By the way, an open-source alternative with the same touch-screen interface will be arriving late this year or early in the next year. Half the price, or less, and since it's open-source, you're in charge of your own phone, unlike this iPhone and its (I really have to laugh at this part) inaccessible file structure. It'll work with whatever service provider your feverish little heart desires, too, and as a former customer of AT&T, that's like manna from heaven. *Edit* No, I'm not making this up: Neo1973 site- Yet another strike against these "all-in-one" devices. angeleiz13 rated 12 months ago- moral of the story...it's not always best to be first. there is already an upgrade in the works. it's stupid to run out and buy what amounts to an expensive demo just cause it's "cool".

happysnowfish rated 12 months ago- never get version one of a product. probably every one of these problems will be worked out in a future release, which should happen within a year.

AirIntake44 rated 12 months ago- The iPhone sounds like a piece of crap compared to my Nokia!

Otenko rated 12 months ago- This makes me feel a little better about not getting an iPhone yet.

DeathMerchant rated 12 months ago- He can take it back within 14 days and cancel his contract with no cancellation fee.. but there's going to be a 10% restocking fee.

gocamaro69 rated 12 months ago- Sometimes the new products need a few years to work out the kinks...some of the things he points out are mind boggling though. Not worth $600...

Benway68 rated 12 months ago- I feel better about buying a T-Mobile MDA Pro more and more every day.
