I feel sorry for anyone who has to watch FOX news every once in while. I had to for work briefly, and it's like a bad comedy.

the News Hounds seem to make a fool of themselves every time they post a new article. take a look at johnny dollar's place (http://homepage.mac.com/mkoldys/iblog/) where he destroys their "facts" with video and audio proof to show what they are posting is full of lies

I certainly don't envy the folks who watch Fox so I don't have to, but I appreciate their efforts immensely!! I try to watch Fox News every now and then, but it irritates me so that, for health reasons, I don't do it very often. :-)

"We watch FOX so you don't have to." These people are making a big sacrifice and I, for one, appreciate it.

The so-called Fox "News" Channel and its flying monkey version of Meat Puppets are so disgusting, I would rather not watch it. I'm glad these guys do, so I don't have to. I also don't want to give Fox web sites any more hits than they get from the Jesusland hillbillies and similar undereducated, racist, homophobic, stupid, water-headed, trailer park dwellers and other ignorant louts they appeal to (WorldNut Daily, FrooperNet, etc.). Idiots and hillbillies will always be idiots and hillbillies. It is good I don't have to support them or their ignorant modes of information. Thank you NewsHounds.

Not a bad website - but I can't get past their tagline "we watch Fox News so you don't have to" - talk about pandering to the ignorant masses. The only way you can truly understand all sides of an issue is to hear all sides. If you think CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS don't have an ideological slant to their reporting, you are just delusional. It has been correlated using on-air references to think tank studies and analysis of the numbers and ideology of on-air guests. Sure Fox has a slightly conservative bias. But measured objectively using the statistics that I just mentioned, it is a LOWER bias than that of any other major news networks - all of which have measured LIBERAL biases. The closest news outlet to a neutral rating was the Drudge Report, of all places. Don't believe me? Google the following "Milyo Groseclose Media Study" or go to the following link: http://www.polisci.ucla.edu/faculty/groseclose/Media.Bias.8.htm. Read Bernard Goldbergs two books for a clear understanding of how slanted most reporting is. Fox is just an answer to the completely one-sided media farce that has been in existence for the last 40 years. It is simple economics. You have 100 newspapers and 5 TV networks spouting news slanted for liberal ears, and 1 slanted for conservative ears. Geez - which one will have a growth in audience? Wake up and study all sides of an issue. Don't be so lazy as to let somebody else summarize reporting for you. Don't be afraid to try and challenge your own conceptions.

I very seriously disagree with FreqWiz - FNC generally has on one side a conservative viewpoint, and on the other, a moderate or slightly less conservative vewpoint. There are exeptions, but there aren't many. When a Canadian friend of mine and I were working the same site, he looked at the tv (which had FNC on) and said "Oh, its your propaganda channel!" We both laughed, but it was not a happy fun kind of laughter.

From the page: "We're eight middle-aged citizens who believe a viable democracy depends upon viable media." You go, news hounds! Oh, and about "fair and balanced" ... London bureau chief, Scott Novell, recently fessed up to Fox News' bias in an op-ed he wrote for the May 20th, Wall Street Journal Europe: "Even we at Fox News manage to get some lefties on the air occasionally, and often let them finish their sentences before we club them to death and feed the scraps to Karl Rove and Bill O'Reilly."
