I like the idea, but I distrust anyone who thinks they can instant-fix something as complicated as self-image or self-esteem.

I'm already loving myself, and certainly loving those extra curves every now and then. But hey, good site for those in need, I guess.

I was overweight and healthy for most of my adult life, then nearly died as a result of anorexia. Excess weight is certainly NOT healthy, but starvation is at least as dangerous as morbid obesity. No one's telling women to be pigs, but only a fool or a misogynist (wait....wouldn't those be the same thing?) would disagree with the message this site is sending.

From this page: "The vision of Love Yourself Now is to create a world where people feel free from rules, pressures, and self-punishment." And we are to achieve this with the help of this lady-astrologer for Teen People magazine. Right, and the most helpful tool to make me love myself anew is a game. Of feeding. A model. You have GOT to be kidding me.

This is a good sight in many ways, but by no means is it a way to avoid being as healthy as possible. Many people don't fit the 'image' of the 'vogue' look, but are healthy. The problem is that society has put so much on what 'it's' version of beauty and being acceptable is that many have lost site of the fact that what makes us all beautiful is our individuality, being healthy, self confident, and happy. No one should look in a mirror and only see a hatred of themselves. That is not what we were put here on this earth to do.

I disagree with Step314. While I agree the US and Britain both have a huge collective weight problem which has serious health implications I don't think women hating their bodies or feeling guilty for eating is the answer. I think we need to develop a society in which women can feel happy with their own bodies without competitive notions of beauty. Then amybe food can be a fuel and a pleasure and we can learn to eat a healthy diet instead of following faddy diets that demonise certain foods and encourage bingeing. I think that when women are made to feel guilty about eating it prevents them feeling satisfaction from enjoying the taste and causes them to overeat in an attempt to reach a state of satiation. My only problem is why is this site pastel pink? It seems to be the uniform for sites aimed at women and it is bloody awful. Plus it compounds and feeds into the whole ballet dancer/ barbie doll look type thing which hardly seems appropriate for a site concerned with women's body image.
