- You guys obviously didn't read the article, its not about IBM controlling the internet, that was just one example given in the begging. Its actually about a new server/supercomputer design being offered by IBM.

- Part of the point of the internet is that it is distributed and "sovereignty"(so to speak) is given to small group running individual servers. If IMB is suggesting an extreemly large hosting company, capable of hosting everyone, then fine, whatever, and there won't be a problem, as long as I can run a home server etc.

- NO! If one computer could run the internet then it would advance to a stage where the internet is no longer public domain.

- Why would this be a good idea? If there were one computer in the middle, you just know it would end up in the offices of the Department of Reich Security.
