Well, personally, I remember having assignments exactly like that in Social Studies class, so ... Man, wish I'd thought of writing in Chinese/whatever. It wouldn't even have to be accurate, my teacher would have been impressed enough.

none of it is clear to me, I don't speak Chinese or any other Asian language, nor can I recognize any of the characters. For all I know, this is another useless site due to lack of translation. SOOO.... USELESS!

I am surprised that people are actually trying to translate it, or for that matter, test its historical accuracy. The humour is not in what he writes, but what language he writes it in. As the question says, he literally assumes the role of a chinese immigrant.
