Eatsme00w rated 3 months ago- These pictures are a product of pure imagination and creativity. They are very vivid and so exquisitely painted that their features look so alive. Credit to the poster. Keep it up!

irisman rated 3 months ago- I see pictures fast, i.e. in a very short time I see, comprehend and digest what is there, very quickly. It was not always so. Before I had a head injury, I worked at it, slowly. Conversely I used to recognize & remember faces. Now I don't recognize peoples faces very much, nor do I recognize many faces in pictures. Side by side I often can't tell if I am looking a 1 or persons ...or 3 or more. 5 minuets later I may not know if I ever saw a person (live or pic) before unless there are other clues in the photo (clothes, glasses, hair, setting or background, etc.) So I guess seeing things in photos is a compensation. I always liked art, though producing images myself was never a strong point, I always enjoyed what others could do. I now see & understand things I never saw before in a small fraction of the "seeing time" I ever used to spend on an image. A good compensation I guess. You see, if I saw you in person, and I saw you the next day (or maybe with someone of similar appearance a half hour later), likely I would not know you, or if I had ever seen you before. I know & recognized persons in one setting or activity, & have no idea who they are when I meet them in another place. Sometimes it has been humorous, since I have quit faking recognition, and ask "Do (or How do) we know each other?". I would be a a good crime scene witness, but cops nightmare in identifying almost anyone in a line-up. How bad is it? One of my brothers still says "Hi brother" so I will recognize him if we haven't seen each other for a week. I always recognized my parents and a brother, usually my sister & luckily for me, when my wife showed up to claim me, I said 'Hi love." not "who is she?" Some people I've been around for years think I'm joking when I ask them who they are! I may have a weird sense of humor, but it's not that warped that way. Which brings me to ArtZone (at last, you say?), at last. Here I have found many images that I see fast & slowly. And I find thatseeing slowly is fun & rewarding in a way I had forgotten. The surrealistic turns and bends in reality challenges my sense of reality. I must look longer to understand what I'm seeing, and derive much pleasure form the exercise. I find myself coming back to this site for the sheer enjoyment of pleasurable slow looking. I wish I could give you the gift & joy of seeing and feeling the enjoyment I get here from looking slowly, without, of course, first having to scramble your brains like mine are. Well, that's how I view it. I hope you can also revel in your own kind of viewing.
