Well Maggie and I didn't hit it off immediately, due to a rather childish review I'd left for a stumblebuddy of hers, but I can assure anyone who read my previous review, it was written in error. She is NOT a nice little old lady. She IS a very nice young woman with great charm, eloquence and a fantastic eye for the unusual and delicious, have a browse through the photos on her page and I'm quite sure you'll agree. Quite a star, X

A wonderful sense of humor is found on this site and blog. Well written and very perceptive thoughts to absorb here as well. (I added you as one of my friends today.. smile.) Update...Thank you so much for the Monkdogz insert! and your lovely review! Rainbows all around you. Another update... that quote about your HS classmates running the country... priceless!

From Pearl's thoughtful and lovely pages, a place to stop and stay awhile.

War Time There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground, And swallows circling with their shimmering sound; And frogs in the pools singing at night, And wild plum trees in tremulous white, Robins will wear their feathery fire Whistling their whims on a low fence-wire; And not one will know of the war, not one Will care at last when it is done. Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree If mankind perished utterly; And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn, Would scarcely know that we were gone. - Sara Teasdale
... and this I could not resist, thanks Pearl.
