NedReck is awesome, and I stole these oddly beautiful lichens from him. Most of his entries are even more fascinating, but better if you go see for yourself :)

- It's nice to see someone remembering the Biggles books, takes me back more years than I care to remember. Those were the days when children's books were full of adventure.

- I find it hard to accept the reality that I've never reviewed Nedreck's site! So, in an effort to correct that error, let me just say that his photo tour of downtown Memphis is a fabulous take on my former hometown. Nashville is a beautiful city, but so is Memphis, and it has a flavor all it's own. It's probably something to do with BBQ sauce, and smoky. ;) I will certainly be visiting this gentleman again and again.

- This groovy shot of the Sun Records' building in Memphis is just one of many that Nedreck has taken of his town. And he takes us on a tour of Memphis that is delightful. I really appreciate it when a stumbler takes me into his or her area and shows me around. Nedreck noted that his wife was driving while he took the pictures and I guess that's what I need. I have been trying to put together a little pictorial tour of my town and it's hard to drive and take pictures at the same time. The pics get all tilted and it looks like I'm having a bad accident. So, in the interest of preventing self-fulfilling prophesies, I reckon I'll look for a chauffeur. I've given up on the wife thing.
