- so they're not the most important ecologically, but they are very important- They fight in the hope that we wont live in a sterile world, with woods free from bears and wolves, south pacific islands free of dragons, seas free of sharks. We are not heirs apparent to an empty mansion, we are one wee pee thread in a weave that we are swiftly unraveling. there will be recoil.

- Itīs sad that the most widespread symbol for environmentalism is an animal as ecologically expendable as the panda bear. Well, I guess that krill wouldnīt make such a great logo.
