From the page: "Every time I promise myself that I will work on controlling my temper, I always end up making a scene. This time, it wasnâ€t my fault. All I wanted was a bagel. A bagel, a cup of coffee, and perhaps a spot near a window where I could idly watch the traffic go by as I browsed through the newspaper and licked cream cheese from my fingers. But apparently the Gods were not on my side. Today I got in line behind a middle aged woman in a fur coat who was barking orders at the poor bagel girl like she was a dumb misbehaving dog. Fur Coat was ordering multiple bagel sandwiches from a list, but instead of ordering them in such a way that would make sense, she was attempting to order them all at the same time. The Bagel Girl was obviously confused and you could tell by her shaking hands that Fur Coatâ€s harsh tone was intimidating her. Finally, Fur Coat snapped, â€oeI said light butter on that bagel! Light butter! Jesus!” I couldnâ€t stand it anymore. I cut in, â€oeYou donâ€t have to be such a bitch about it.” Fur Coat glared daggers at me and stated, â€oeIâ€m not.” â€oeWell, I beg to differ.”"

- having been both a quick service food person (dairy queen) and a server (chain italian food) i have to keep my personal opinions to myself, and watch managers trip over themselves because they are so afraid a guest will call corporate and complain... so THANK YOU for calling out jackasses that i (and my managers!) cannot.

- First of all I would like to say to "xxStalkerxx" that I have just in fact read the entire article! You don't need to quote it! Then I would like to say that I agree with this article completely. Society allows too much room for assholes, jerks, douche bags, etc. to do their terrible work. I'm sure that we American aren't the only ones who do this either. No society is free from assholes, there are no exceptions.

- Reminds of the best grunt work job I ever had. The boss man said "Be nice to the customer, but if they are a jerk fill free to open up". -That made up for the crappy pay. That and free ice cream.
