I remember hearing about this thing waaaay back in 2000, when I was in 7th grade. I remember seeing the projected timeline and thinking, "MAN that's a long time from now!" It kind of makes me feel old.... but I'm kind of excited it's finished now, what a great achievement!

Fascinating to see all the different components that have gone into tthe space station to date. It may not look as beautiful as the "Space Wheel" from "2001: A Space Odyssey" but it is an important step forward.
