As someone obsessed with words, I find the concept very interesting. I wouldn't consider myself educated in anyway about the world's languages, but it seems a stretch to me for them to say so many languages are disappearing so quickly, however I can see where in time how there would be very few languages left in our world. Even the English language is dying in my opinion, I suppose that is the fate of everything in this world.

I'm pretty curious what this is all about. Sounds pretty neat.

The idea is cool, the trailer is terrible. It makes it seem like many of the worlds most spoken languages (like Spanish) are going to disappear... This of course is totally untrue. Quechua is also widely spoken across South America and isn't endangered. Still looks like an interesting movie.

I am a linguist myself and this seems to be an awesome movie-project. Fantastic idea, to go and record rarely spoken languages. What an unique experience of different cultures. I will see this movie - definitely.

A trailer for a movie entitled The Linguists. It is a documentary chronicling the experiences of two linguists who travel to remote areas to record dying languages. It looks fascinating.

Movie about languages. Don't know much more, but not much less either.
