- This reminds me of some of these churches my Aunt would take me too. It was pretty spooky how everyone just sort of goes into this mindless 'obedient' state. Organized religion is quite good at a few of these techniques

- The best I have ever seen at this process was from The Summit Lighthouse group. I was invited years back by a neighbor who was an adherent. I was only about 15 at the time. The leader Elizabeth Clare Prophet was supposed to be attending, but of course never showed up. Instead a man first came out and started speaking to everyone, and his voice was very hypnotic. Then, they had a video presentation of Elizabeth Clare Prophet. I was amazed at all of the people literally hypnotized by this video. I was very disturbed, and knew what was going on, and I removed myself from the room. Another woman followed, and we both discussed how freaky it had been. I literally felt as if I was being put under a spell.

- Those revivalist services are bogus, but whoever wrote this left out all the other things that are 'brainwashing' people, like tv/movies and most schools. Also, I know quite a few people who are lawyers or going to law school, and none of them know anything about hypnosis...
