sideways rated 10 months ago- Bleh. The "new" look stinks. Yes, I *would* leave SU over it...simply because it is not navigable. It reminds me too much of shitty commercialized design like myspace. Sites like Myspace may be popular, but they lack the elegance and simplicity of good design + functionality. Which SU used to have. It goes back to the old standard of "less is more". Lots of bells and whistles create interest, but its the underlying content that supports the structure. I know most Stumblers wouldn't miss me if I leave. That's ok. You can have your java-hyper-video-selfmasturbating websites, good for you. I still appreciate good design and functionality.

- bumped. :) yes. i admit it.. i like the new beta look. i cant even remember the old one. yes, there is an adjustment phase. get over it. in the end, it's just a website..not the end of the world... but m2hnj said it better: "I wish people would STFU and quit bitching about the new layout already. It's getting old. The look is here to stay, get used to it. The part that really cracks me up is people threatening to leave over it, like it's going to make a damn bit of difference. No one cares if you're going to leave and delete your shitty photoblog full of copy and paste photos and bad poetry in protest. In fact, please do. The last thing SU needs is more whiny little bitches." *giggle*

- No no and NO! Obviously, SU is having trouble pawning this crap on us or they wouldn't be stumbling it to every user. And to all those who think we are BITCHING about the new layout...learn WEB DESIGN and HTML (HTML...so stupid a caveman could do it...)...then give an opinion. The new layout is cluttered and unnecessary and not everyone needs the dumb-down version of SU. If SU will notice...it's those who MADE SU what it is who don't like the design. Some advice...keep the $h*tty new design for those who (**cough**) barely know how to use a computer, and keep the "classic" design for everybody else, stop shoving this down our throat, and then no one will have to listen to our complaining.

I hate the new layout, I immediately switched back to the classic view,
and kept using the old WYSIWYG HTML editor Greasemonkey script
...also, this whole "sidebar" thing is unnecessary and just clutters everything...
take note, SU, LESS IS MORE...
For example,

minimal...compact...
just the way I like it...

- Imo, as craignissen88 said, less is more - everything that i needed was there, and close, thats the reason i like stumbleupon and i think i'd prefer to keep it that way, it would seem logical and certainly more efficient than the new style, which is cluttered...
