- Yipe! It's not a big deal but when I first noticed it my heart skipped a beat. Fitting caption. :) More a factor of the photo's atmosphere.

- Are you lot serious? A picture on the internet, on your computer screen, is "scary"? Either you're lying or you need to get outside way more.

- alright, it did scare me quite a bit, the expression on the kids' face is difficult to interpret, but my reptilian brain yells "not friendly!"........BUT ......does anyone else think this might be a racist reaction? The contrast of the eyes and the dark skin are shocking compared to the off grays of the rest of the pic, and of course you're looking for a washed out ghost, or some such. Then you see a black kid watching you with a not so friendly face. Does the reaction change with a white or an asian face? how about a clearly female face? Anybody else interpret the expression differently?...... I suspect to full answer to why this is scary is not so proud.
