Thinking you are doing someone a good turn when only 2.7% of the purchase price is donated to... more

Whoever made this site has no idea what they are talking about and are wasting time with senseless, baseless "activism" that is horribly deprived of actual, factual resources and research. Ethos is not just a water bottling company and anyone who may have done any research would know this. The fact is that millions of people in the USA will buy bottled water whether it's Dasani or Evian or any other brand, so Ethos along with a number of other companies, such as Athena Water, are working with the fact that this consumer power exists anyway (and will exist no matter what) and are using it to create good. Athena water, for example, donates 100% of their profits to finding the cure for breast cancer. Ethos water does not donate 100% of their profits, however they work creatively to bring water to people who don't have access to it. They create viable programs. I have met and spoken with one of the founders and if you had any idea what you were saying than you would feel ashamed and foolish. What Ethos and Athena have is a smart and compassionate business. I can guarantee that whomever made this dumb site probably drank bottled water while doing it. Anyway, I highly recommend you do some research. Oh, by the way - you don't even have to buy Ethos water to contribute to the cause of bringing water to people who don't have access to water. You can also simply donate to the Ethos Water Fund, a bona fide 501 c-3 organization. Regards.
