No, Gun control is about making sure psychotic criminals and terrorists don't get their hands on guns. If you have a permit, gun control doesn't matter. Stop overexaggerating things.

uh, psychotic criminals and terrorists already have their hands on guns, nickj52. Gun control only affects those who are inclined to obey the law. Gun control contributes nothing to public safety, and if England and Australia are any measure, it greatly increases the incidence of violent crime. The pro-gun control people are on the wrong side of the argument. All they have are emotion, because none of the facts agree with their assertions. The permit argument is a no-go because it makes it too easy for an oppressive government to know who has guns, just ask the Australians who were lied to about registration.
